CONVERTS
TO DEFEND THE FAITH AGAINST OUTSTANDING PEOPLE OR NEW CATHOLICS
THE POWER OF THE HOLY MASS
⚔️Now, with these points, you will understand why all of hell, the demons, and the powers of the world want to suppress the Perpetual Sacrifice of Jesus Christ in the Holy Mass, and why they persecute the Catholic Church and the priests who faithfully and devoutly celebrate Mass.⚔️
1- At the hour of your death, your greatest consolation will be the Masses you attended during your life.
2- Every Mass you attended will accompany you before the divine tribunal and plead for your forgiveness.
3- With each Mass, you can lessen the temporal punishment you owe for your sins, in proportion to the fervor with which you attend.
4- By devoutly attending Holy Mass, you pay the greatest homage to the Most Holy Humanity of Our Lord.
5- Holy Mass, when attended well, makes up for your many negligences and omissions.
6. By attending Holy Mass worthily, you are forgiven all the venial sins you are resolved to avoid, and many others you don't even remember.
7. Through it, the devil also loses his power over you.
8. You offer the greatest consolation to the blessed souls in Purgatory.
9. You obtain blessings in your business and worldly affairs.
10. A Mass attended while you live will benefit you much more than many offered for you after death.
11. You are delivered from many dangers and misfortunes into which you might fall were it not for Holy Mass.
12. Remember also that through it you shorten your time in Purgatory.
13. With each Mass, you increase your degrees of glory in Heaven. In it, you receive the priest's blessing, which God ratifies in Heaven.
14. God will deliver from a tragic death those who attend Mass every day, and their guardian angel will be mindful of their every step on their way to Mass, and God will reward them at death.
15. During Mass, you kneel amidst a multitude of angels who invisibly attend the Holy Sacrifice with the utmost reverence.
16. When we attend Mass in honor of a particular Saint, giving thanks to God for the favors granted to that Saint, we cannot help but gain their protection and special love, because of the honor, joy, and happiness that our good deed brings them.
18. Every day we attend Mass, it would be good to include, in addition to our other intentions, the intention of honoring the Saint of the day.
19. The Mass is the greatest gift that can be offered to the Lord for souls, to release them from purgatory, free them from their sufferings, and lead them to the joy of glory. – St. Bernard
20. He who hears Mass, prays, gives alms, or prays for the souls in Purgatory, works for his own good. – St. Augustine
21. For every Mass celebrated or heard with devotion, many souls are released from Purgatory, and the sufferings of those who remain there are lessened. – St. Gregory the Great, Pope
22. During the celebration of Mass, the sufferings of the souls for whom the priest prays and acts are suspended, and especially those for whom he offers the Mass. -Saint Gregory the Great
23- You can also gain a Plenary Indulgence every Monday of the year by offering Holy Mass and Communion for the souls in Purgatory. For the faithful who cannot attend Mass on Monday, it suffices to attend Mass on Sunday with this intention.
25- It is requested that all indulgences be applied for the souls in Purgatory, for God our Lord and they themselves will reward this charity.
26- Holy Mass is the renewal of the Sacrifice of Calvary, the greatest act of adoration of the Most Holy Trinity. Therefore, it is an obligation of love to attend Mass every Sunday and holy day of obligation.
27- Ah, how many times has the Lord preserved you from death or from very grave dangers through the Holy Mass you have heard! Saint Gregory the Great
